i finally got an A grade!!! i'm overjoyed. that fac is soooo encouraging! his lessons are really enjoyable. but other days jus sucks badly sometimes.

ahem* a continuation of the previous post, haha i shall share what are my assignments for each day some of you may be interested to know right. xP
Once lesson ends, the facilitator will open up a quiz, Peer and Self evaluation and reflective journal for us. The quiz consists of several questions depending on what module we are having for that day. But quiz score would not be counted in the grade. of course that's a relief to hear. hehe
Peer and self evaluation... u'll have to rate how u urself and ur teammates had done and participate in lesson on that day. i'm not very sure if that is counted in part of ur grade =x but who cares la. we always tick the agree or strongly agree box. lol
For RJ, eg. ( one of the questions i did last week )
Question: What is your first impression on the problem based learning method at RP? Response: Before I came into Rp, I actually did not like this way of learning method as i felt that I was not suitable for this kind of studying system. It may be a better method for those who are more outspoken, loves presentation, speaks and ask questions alot. but I'm usually someone who likes to take down notes on what the teacher teaches as I'm not a person who speaks well. When I had my enterprise skills module yesterday I found out that PBL is an instructional method that challenges students to "learn to learn," working cooperatively in groups to seek solutions to real world problems. These problems are used to engage students' curiosity and initiate learning the subject matter. PBL prepares students to think critically and analytically, and to find and use appropriate learning resources. Then I felt that it was probably a good learning method as we are moving towards the 22th century,a modern society, this studying system would probably be useful. Although I'm still not very used to it and trying to adapt,I guess I would be able to be better at presentations in times to come.
i got a B. and an exceptional rate in my report. hoho. i think dis is the best RJ i've ritten so far lo. cos the rest of the questions are quite kuku and always repeating. makes me run out of stuffs to write. Rp life is getting kinda boring sometimes but many happenings are going on as well. lol. contradict rite? -_-
tomorrow's wednesday! i'm having enterprise skills. i like this module leh. guess why? cos shawn and thomas are in my group. wahahhaas. with dem, i'll be luffing non stop. and my fac will be tt mr LKK, LOL.. the most humourous fac. yeaps*!

Fri's Module : Communication Practice
You are all fresh polytechnic graduates and you have come together to form a company. You’re designing your first product to be commercialized and sold in Singapore and the world. But first, you’ve got to come up with a product. You can use any materials to create your product (e.g. used cans, cardboards, paper, etc…be as creative as you like)
My team's role : Role 2: Come up with written instructions to help your target customers assemble your product without your help. You decide who your target customer is. (Other teams must be able to guess who your target customer is based on the way your instructions are written.)
After hours, we came out with this product. LOL.
know what is it not. chair ok. hurhur
hey, i did the arms of the chair and stick the legs together alrite. wahaha. the rest of the class was suppose to guess who'S our target customers. i felt it was rather obvious tt it was for children. but answers given by them was all ages and my facilitator even cracked a joke that it was for skinny people? LOL!!

I LOVE MY NEW BLOGSKIN!
two days in Rp jus passed kinda boring... and it's raining everytime when school's goona end. thus we are not able to leave.
sometimes i feel that i'm not really cut out for this kinda studying system im not those who participates actively in class =x and also not someone hu loves speaking up and questioning people lastly... i dont know how to present! -_- and Rp's all about that. eeeewws. i would have to bear with this system for 3 years. imagine that. boohoo.
no lectures... only research research... discussion and presentation. in fact, i'm surfing the net & msning from morning till night. had science & maths modules ytd & today. was being sabo-ed to be the grp leader today. grrr but was not too bad. hehe got to know a few friends there already :) bought and sold my laptop case. lol. classroom's freakin cold. seems like i'm in Genting that mades my stomach growling non stop and i've been eating like a glutton recently. i wonder why i'm always hungry. aiks, poly life's actually not as fun as what i always thought. but i seriously do hope it'll getting better =)

school's starting on monday. no more slacking and shopping. time to get back to study mode. been excited and awaiting for it yet feeling weird. sighh. sometimes i wonder if i'll be having good times in poly... i have not got my laptop case yet! arhh. need to get it tml.
since weds i've been going out. enjoying the last few days. met mendy in the late morning on weds, she wanted to go town for a while. and saw dis ' RAPUNZEL ' haha! first thing me and mendy thot was how she washes her hair. she'll hav sucha hard time.
we finally took neos, i'll try to get it scanned. =)
i wore my purple contacts! my eye stil hurts when wearing. sighh
then during noon, went to help her open shop and accompanied her till late afternoon. otherwise, when sch starts cannot c her le! lol. happy working there, my dear! will visit u when i have the time :)
thurs went town again with joanna. as i wanted to get something from my friends' shop. congrats to joanna. she got into Laselle! i got the chance to look at her portfolio, her sketchworks's fantastic. she never took art in her sec sch, this shows she has great talent. weeeets.

and man, we were all the time sitting beside project superstar junyang and we din even noe. haha` his hair was in a different style, dat's why my mum and brother din belive me dat it was jy. he was keeping sucha low profile. din dare to look up. he's cute las xP but he's got a super small build. seems like a kid frm bhind. eeee. i dun like guys like dat =x din get to take snaps of him as i din bring along my camera. hees

then i met monica my HONEYPIE at bugis. great to see her after so many months! xDD we both got a shirt and chatted alot.
we had to left early as we both got something on at night. as for me, i went to church for the passover meal. well. look wad we got here.
paid 15 bucks for dis. lol. it was the traditional passover meal the israelites have i guess. but quite filling though.

orientation had ended today and i got loads to say. today was definately more fun then yesterday. and not bringing my laptop along makes me feel lighterr. hahx imagine carrying tt 2kg tingy for 3yrs. it's like a hatchet on ur back. u'll see me growing shorter by then.
we did a quiz, skit and a presentation today. as to why it was more fun today was because we got to interact more with each other and i got to noe bout half of my class already :)
come to think of it, probably Rp's studying system's not so bad afterall we'll be having four tests in a module. the four tests are equivalent to the 2hr exams in other polys. so if we failed one of the test, we'll stil be able to buck up on the sec one. andd everyday's jus a laptop. no stationeries. LOL. the weird thing is all freshmens are mixed up this yr. so u'll see it, sci, engineer students in a particular class tgd as we'r all learning the same module in the first yr.
My school's really dull leh. everywhere's painted white. cant they add in more colours like temasek? =S the school looks so boring even though its new but the canteen's not that bad, rather cozy. oh ya, i spotted Leandra from SI in one of the class on my lvl. i wonder why she's taking the first yr with us. weird.
i'm currently so in love in my laptop. i've been using it thruout the whole day. till it keeps going flat. lol. i had already transfered every song inside and bluetoothed pictures frm my hp there. haha.
