Day with one of my best girlfriend~

Monday was dayout with my secondary school dance bestie!
I was full of excitement upon seeing her :DD as we din get to meet up on the previous dates we picked.
Both of us were kinda lazy to dress-up and so we hit the city in our comfy casual outfits. hee

She had a changed of hairdo over at Taiwan. RAHHHS! i'm always envious whenever i'm aware of anyone oversea-ing on every vacation. Fortunate families, leaving me behind T.T I feel like a mountain turtle with the fact that i've only visited Malaysia & Bangkok in my 17 years of life. when's my turn to travel around the world! *pouts*

Under the influence of my darling painkillers, im beginning to produce 'fuck faces' whenever i run out of expression for camwhoring. hurhurs`

Say we'll meet up at least once every holiday and we'll still be each other's listening ear till we are white-haired. *flashes wide grin* Then you would have to tolerate rantings of my life in one shot each time we hang out. hahaha!

nono, I'm usually not one of those die-hard fans who dump all their cash to track down celebrities and i dare to admit that i had did a good job controlling myself from going gaga over those on-going female killers these few years as ive refrained myself from been a couch potato catching up with all the drama serials. hahs. tough task ok...
But, the recent Hana Kimi was oh-so-full of temptation, i couldnt help not noticing this bunch of eyecandies. yelps, and can you believe it? i actually purchased a small package full of fahrenheit magazine, posters & stickers. i guess it's due to impulsiveness though. LOL.



Therefore i thought i'd better remove them frm my possessions, before i get further deeper crazying over them xP Thus, my very lucky biaojie who had been reminding me to get one for her would be receiving it from me as a belated bdae present. hehe.

After rounds of rigorous dance rehearsals the past four months, it was time for the twelve of us to start off with the first performance of our anti-drug dance item at Fort Canning's Legend.

I felt it was good to showcase our performance to a large audience beforehand so as to get ourselves prepared for danceworks (=

some PBL event was on for professors & lecturers around the world and after our performance, some of them actually came telling us some pleasant remarks for motivation!

11th Mar 07 - Competition Day

The Painkillers met up early outside NAC to had our blockings familiarized on stage. There was a little trace of edginess in me after viewing the dances of other groups as most of their items were marvelous in both the choreography, dynamics of the dance & so on... *ohnos*

and so, we did some last min touching, warming up and proceeded...

the makeup artists and hairstylists we had for the day!

I think my face has a problem absorbing the white paint. I had a second round of touch up but stil, it turned out having a paler, nuder look compared to the pure white overall the rest had =S Maybe that explains why my usual makeups fades off that readily. hmmm

Yay! Time to rock the stage & let everything out in a blast! =DD

i know we may come across like complete geisha-like weirdos to you in the above pics =x but its understood that shots taken while u'r dancing or singing seldom turn out nice if u noticed. hurhurs.

Ohyaohya! im so proud of our comments. weeee *twirls around* and i tink it's so cool la. my first time receiving comments from judges for a competition ok. hehs.

As soon as all 16 groups had had their turn up on stage, it was some headache time for the panel of judges while the emcee came up with some games for entertainment (x
We got the bdae dancer, Azy on stage and made used of all the items & props from our possession to turn her into an energizer battery. hee. CUTE
The aftermath of danceworks were filled with tears of joy. It was a great sense of fulfillment. Everything was worthwhile despite the frequent bruises appearing all over our body, lack of sleep, jelly-ish legs, aches & dirt we girls endured. lol
we brought glory to our school as we were awarded with the best costume award ( obviously who would thought of wearing a 'cheongsum' for a contemp, hiphop dance besides our wise instructor :Pp ) & the teachers were proud of our achievement. cheeerios! Not a bad start for modern dance IG eh [:



We couldnt bare to to leave Shanti T.T she had been like an ideal instructor to most of us, we each received a big huggy from her & individual words of encouragements as well :DD All of us are really thankful for all shan had done this while. LOTSA HEARTS, KISSES & MISSES TO YOU!

as for us, the dancers... daily gatherings for practices had formed a stronger bond between us. i guess we all love each truckloads too =))

the group of us then headed for a meal together, strolled around & hung out at heeren.




we actually got told off by the security after climbing all over the rocks and posing with it. lol, and all along i thought it was for photo taking purposes!

then we settled down at the empty area somewhere around heeren's carpark for some light games, few amusing forfeits and chats. hee!

Life after danceworks was more of resting and relaxing but we were so used to meeting each other every single day to dance together and it felt so different having a break for 2 weeks. lalalas :P
And now, we'r gonna get together and have another self dance practice for the upcoming SLA fiesta!

the journey frm the station to her terrace was as usual, a moist one. With that humid weather, its hard not to chill out in her room before we start on the assignment of the day xD

after washing up, i tried on the kimino that i almost bought and i thought i did the right choice of not purchasing it as it suited the owner more then myself. bleahh.

Things have gone from bad to worst, tell me it isnt doom soon

my eyesight had been giving me difficulties these days. Not with the views but the concentration. Probably because of the excess engrossment on the screen that drove the disturbance to my eyes. It gets so weak and heavy at times making me feel somnolent x(

was left with no choice but to be a mummy's good girl today as she was ill and insisted bro & me to be at home with her. we did a hell load of packings in those cabinets around the TV console for approximately 5 hrs. My hands & butt were numbed after severe tearing, cutting & arranging of our picture possessions.

'nevertheless, I still feel a tinge of cruelty removing him off those childhood memories despite the unforgivable sins.' sighh.

hope momo's thankful for the great help we had been and grant me with the permit to hang out more often yea!

and ever since the birth of this 2nd piece, i have been pestering mum to get me a polaroid cam =x I find it real fun collecting pictures instantly! hehs.

Both of them have a wide grp of friends that makes the world seemed much much smaller... ha! Hazlinda ( my sem 2 classmate )'s her friend's friend and felicia ( my sem 1 classmate ) actually live a few houses away from her and there are many many other connections around as well. yeahh :D

Ever since my younger brother stepped into another phase of life, which is the promotion to a secondary school. There had been some conspicuous change in him which relatives & family felt was quite obvious.

This slight change is adding more colours to being a sister & its kinda urging me to blog about him as well. hee! ( He's been waiting to see his pictures up here actually xP )



He's purely cuteness! Looks so dazzling even in my little ballet costume. awwwws. It always feels good when u look back at your childhood photographs :DD

I always dote on him when he was still a kid till he turns into a devil which brought me into lotsa dressing-downs by mum, that was when i termed him a pest.



Now, he's potraying the great side of having a younger sibling. I guess its the tiny start to maturity. He's now an almost-all-time companion, a fun friend & soon-to-be listener ((: These days, I had been spending more time with him and the fact that we rarely bicker soothes my soul. So now, both of us can conserve the energy & leave it till mum issues. whooops! hahs.
