yeah alright. I know it has been so hectic for me that I have only got time to use my posts as a mean of advertising =\
Like one busybee, I've gotta giv up some new yr visitings and work plus study for 2 mid term tests during these first few days of lunar NY. *sulks* X.X

Anyways, as the title states. Ads. Dance pracs these few mths were mainly for this 2 upcoming events. well...Ya know what to do ;) Time to show some love again!

First up, my virgin performance with SIM DWZ!
Emerge @ Zirca; a collabo with NUS dancers.
The fun-loving people from this club is the reason I found a sense of belonging in Uni and with them, I see colors during dull & monotonous school days. Serious ;)
And its also the first time i'm doing Hei's hiphop! Doing her style makes me feel like a fish out of water but its really challenging though! heh.

TOMO's Grad Show :)

Last year, I started having my hair cuts & dye at Toni & Guy under Tomo to get him ready for his portfolio & grad show. So here it is, his big day!
The theme of the hairshow is "Coral Alliance".

The hairmods arrived early in the morning at the hair acad to prep.
There were 3 different segments, the Sea creatures, corals (hair-up) and the hairdown ( haircut & colour ).

Thats Wei Cong with the costumes for us. They were suppose to look plain and subtle to display contrast from our hair.

SWAP & $HOP is here again, 2009’s largest Flea Before Christmas!

20th December 2009 is the grand date and we will attempt to decorate the entire place so Christmassy that you will definitely feel the joy and warmth of Christmas!

Not only that, this will be the very first Flea Market held within the fantastically large air-conditioned space of St James Powerstation

which will be held till the LATE HOURS OF THE NIGHT.

Talk about needing to grab your last minute Christmas Clothes and Accessories and not having enough time?

SWAP & $HOP will open the Flea till 9pm just for us girls to take our time to look through our items!

And so it will be started at 4pm for all the late night party Saturday goers, and end it off nicely at 9pm!

On our gathering previously, Khalis said that his presents for us were too big to bring along and around for the day so we arranged to meet up another time for it.

Belated 20th Bdae Celebration for the triple LEOs~

From the start, when the 3 lion and lioness got to know each other.. we planned to have our birthday celebrated together because Khalis was born on 3rd and us, syakira and me on 4th. Isnt it cool to celebrate with babies of your mth? xP

We met up at Amk hub and decided to take a shot at every location we were to go.

Khalis brought us to CHARCOS somewhere around my neighbourhood.
Never knew there was such yummy mexican food hidden in a not-very-catchy coffee shop.

Indulge in the Uniquely Singapore Experience

Singapore makes the best holiday destination due to the wide varieties of food and the wonderful mix of cultures.

What I love most about Singapore is it being a multi-racial country, highly accessible, has tight security system and lastly, a clean and green environment.

If I were to plan a perfect 1-day itinerary (day and night) for a foreign friend, I would most likely bring him/her to Sentosa else downtown east.
Going to Sentosa would mean spending almost the entire day there since there are already so many tourist attractions and entertainment within.

As for shopping, no where beats town for the widest array of couture!

After sunset, if time permits, we shall do a short stroll around esplanade and head to places along Singapore River to chill and party. The scenery there is magnificent and the night is always young at Clarke quay.

There's definitely so many more places I would love to bring a foreign friend to, unfortunately we only have less then 24 hours!

I had lovely dayouts which are decreasing each bit now, Im so gonna be like wild horses when academic year ends in early Nov! zzz

I get to dine with my girlfriend at Soup Spoon once in a blue moon, she's the only one who doesnt mind souping with me there :D

Then, after pouring out our woes and sharing joyful moments we'll proceed to do some bugis shopping.
Once we both spulrged on this hoodie on impulse though we knew it wouldn't be of much usage cos its summertime. Sadly, we even got cheated by that Aunty who kept emphasizing that the hoodies only come per piece for each colour. zzz but yeah.... as I said. Impulse buy.

Well... in a blink of an eye. Im unbelievably halfway through my 1st sem of Uni.
Exams are here in no time and Im very lost in the sea of stats.

For the past 20 days, a pretty major commotion burst thru.
thank god, I'm still alive.

Was ill, migraine-d... and almost H1N1-ed.
Went to one fleamart after another.
Taking part in several upcoming fleamarts too.
Tish is a new found tiny gem ((:
Joined DWZ advance performing team.
Upcoming performances for SIM student week.
Finally interacted with teammates.
Passed BTT.
Frequented libraries for the most no. of times.
Dance on the overall has been amazingly cut down.
Still struggling with my one day job weekly.
Submitted my first batch of Korean shoe spree orders.
Accounting mid term test in a fortnight.
Ob Assignment dued on 0708 noon. (Not started)
5 or more sets of presents to get ready in a month.
Can't thank Stewart enough for his unconditional R&D help xD

Uhuh, Gotta keep up with the pace!

Zaini invited Md, other IG committee members and Trcc staffs over to chill out at his place. Perhaps its a form of recreation before we get down to a week of hard work for Momentum.

For a five or six room flat like this, its extremely well-designed.
I was utterly fascinated and kept wow-ing everywhere I went. aha.

The concepts of each room were all designed by Zaini and all these furnishings which really stands out to me were mostly shipped from all over the world like turkey, thailand and etc O.O

With such a lovely place to stay in, I prolly wouldn't even mind being grounded! ;P

Very first step,

My wrist got knocked out by the panel I was getting ready at.
The impact was big since it was, afterall th release of one's potential energy.

had to suck in my face and put on th confident smile.
Now, its pretty swollen.

Jelly legs made me pirouette paralyzed.
I survived on pencil turns throughout.
Not obvious but sucked knowing it yourself.

Leg raise was too immediate & wobbly.
Tripped on that long piece of costume almost all the time.
Inaccurate formation.
Energy was bad.

Only positive thing was, I manage to not crash into Sandhya.

The toughest part of competitions that occurs to me is when the dancers all come from different backgrounds or owns a different style. With that we have to mould and polish out a routine piece that's of competitive level within a short timeline. Making things harder, is everyone's tight schedules to fight with...

but beyond that all.

Impresario was one blessing route for FLUX (:
As much as it was a small scale comp, it was a good try.

I must also say... Impresario was prolly one of the competitions with the best organizing committee ever ( besides the fact that they do not provide us with our footages :x )

Firstly they had a decent and spacious holding room for both vocal and dance group.
And, besides providing dinner... We had with us hairstylists and make up artistes too!

Clique's belated reunion dinner.

Finally, I'm moving on to the month of feb ;P

We feast at Sakura and had one sumptuous buffet. There was such a widespread of food and that dory with lemon cream sauce kept me going back for more ;P We filled up plates after plates of food without realizing that we couldn't possibly finish them all. In the end, we had to split up all the leftovers on different plates and hide them under clam shells or tissues to make sure we didnt have to pay that extra fee. LOL

Feeling bloated thereafter, we took a walk over at West Coast Park and the camwhoring begins.

Sunday Home Alone, power trip.

Yesterday was one long day for me and the upcoming Sat would follow suit.

I've jus joined this young talent programme at Apsara Asia with a heart of hope that I would be disciplined enough to wake up every Sat at 8am for it and also to handle their term assessments and complete homework from them each week :\

And that, started off my Sat morning followed by Groove in the West, the comp that has been publicized and postponed for the longest of time.

Was down to support my dear girls! Cherie, Ain, Suling, Cynthia and also the rest like West Coast (flair nation), Mel, Brendan, PDC and the NRA teams etc.
It was simply an afternoon of dope display because most of the crews were so fantastic that it was extreme tough fight. 20/40 teams made it to the semis.

Great job people! Congrats to those who got through too!

Between the period after CNY till the time I got tied down with dance practices & rehearsals, I actually found some time out with these dear ladies whom I haven spend quality time with for a long while ((:

Shuhui was away from Sg for half a year and even when she's back, we both hardly get the chance to meet up.

So whenever we do, it will definitely be just the 2 of us, shopping, camwhoring and chitchatting over a meal =)

Besides getting Cinta's present, Zhilin wanted to hunt for dresses and I was suppose to look out for my prom dress as well. Then we caught sight of this 'Hello Kitty' inspired dress and the sales girl was nice enough to take shots of us in it even though we have no intentions of purchasing.

Visited the flowers display at Sentosa's Palawan beach & Imbiah lookout just now with mum & relatives.
YES! you realise, first time I'm not blogging on outdated activities ;P lol

we took like forever to zig zag up Impiah lookout, managed to get a slight tan on the way even... that's how pack & it happened the same way back down too!

thank god there's no entrance fee to Sentosa flowers.

Yeaa, I realised I haven mention about it at all.
This semester, I actually teamed with the multimedia students and got a media project.

Finally had a taste of real filming and video editing.
Totally new to it but definitely picked up stuffs along the way and still manage to enjoy myself (x

At last, I submitted all the 16 weekly logs and got all the storyboard images ready.

Submission in 1 day.
Evaluation in 3 days.

To be frank, I really don't know my stuffs.
Especially when multimedia is not my faculty and almost all the time I'm rushing for dance rehearsals.
Our videos too, slightly screwed up and I personally feel that mine can barely make it.
Sigh* X.X

It was a simple post xmas cum new year celebration.

We made our way through crowds the whole of yesterday at Vivo, got splitted up here & dere and got congregated back afterwhile. Pack food up to the rooftop cos everywhere else is way too packed, almost got lost trying to find ATM machine, saw celebs, bump into friends and left for home.

She drove Ting down with her as well. Ain't I glad to see them cos I haven't ever since danceworks 08. Class at Hometeam had stopped and we're both learning at different schools now but i still hope we'll get to train together again soon!

The battle with time monster.

This one week holiday onwards,
im gonna fight with the hands of clock,
which i call the time monster.

28th 29th : Dance 9am-4pm
30th : Dance 10am-1pm, 4-5pm
31th: 3-9pm
2th: 2pm - xxx

and the rest of the time, unfortunately goes to FYP.
2 months of wastage and we haven't exactly embarked on it.
So i'm foreseeing tons of time constraints and last minute touch ups.

things are getting so flustered & screwed over here.
its not just solely on FYP & dance btw.
so much about life.
chill pill please.

Everyday they ask "Hey, how are you?"
and there goes the same old reply : "Tired, very tired and nothing but tired."
sometimes, I do get bored with myself even =\

She's home alone today, like finally.
Being at a tranquil state, having a somewhat movie & song marathon, nails and facial treat, leaving an update here and lastly, hoping to get herself prepared for the upcoming 3 tests next week. heh.

hmm. It has been an exceptionally long week for me juggling school, modern dance and then, rushing down osch for recital practice. As a matter of fact, I'm actually proud of myself for not skipping any lessons and was even punctual through all 4 days! :D
This is quite one record for me. lol

Well, speaking about dance...
Lord you ought to bless my dance family.

We are all malfunctioning due to rigorous trainings sessions x.x

Wing's entire body! knee, hip, shoulders & elbows especially.

During practice, the dancers somehow sabo-ed me to solo Marcus's routine. how very embarassing I was! ZzzZ
And, after class they got me to leave the studio so that they could get the cake ready inside which....
i obviously am aware from the start and was jus playing along together with Wing. LOL

Nevertheless, they still painted my day with my colours :DD

hmmm, One month for me to congregate all pics taken but I still failed to do so.
we all remembered there was another camera on that day, but no one knows whose it was x.x

thus, I shall just make do with these few!
